[DeleGate-En] Re: Issue with Delegate 7.3x - 8.5.5

On 07/03/03(06:21) you "Lobdell, Ian" <pbeeqbdyi-pswtoc2amstr.ml@ml.delegate.org> wrote

Sorry but I cannot understand rewriting

  href="\-_-...

to

  hfref="...

?
Are not you using the DeleGate with "http://-_-" ??

 |Sorry but I'm not sure what is your problem.
 |
 |If you use "http://delegate/-_-http://server" in your request to do the
 |proxying, any "http://server" in the response must be rewritten like so
 |to continue further proxying.
 |
 | 1) client requests http://DeleGate/-_-http://server1
 | 2) DeleGate relays it to http://server1
 | 3) server responds with HTML including http://server2
 | 4) DeleGate rewrites it to http://DeleGate/-_-http://server2
 |
 | 5) client reuqests http://DeleGate/-_-http://server2
 | 6) DeleGate relays it to http://server2
 | ...
 |
 |Where is the problem?

Possibly you need the rewriting about server1 (1-2) but you don't
need it for server2 (3-4)

Cheers,
Yutaka
